Edward Scissorhands!
Look it’s him!!!
F*cking beautiful.
God Module (An Aggrotech group) made an awesome cover of this song.
The original is as good as that one!
@Kalaka239846 yeah heard it too. but nothing really beats the original.
Thus concludes the “early” Cure sound.
@TheBrainFromArous Love your comment. I think it captures some of the allure and mystery of The Cure’s music for those of us who experienced them as contemporaries. Even now, there is no one who can compare to their sound. Their sound just impresses the moment into the brain. They are a seminal band, and this song is just unforgettable and unique.
@RainPoetry Indeed. Listening to it even now, I can still feel the wind on my face.
I feel the song into me!!!
22 people need a Cure!!!
Your trust the most gorgeously stupid thing i ever cut in the world
@ultramegaunknown not that theres no merit to your comment, there is. but this band is far too dynamic to classify into “early” and “late.” even this is a dramatic departure from their earlier works in the 70s on Three Imaginary Boys. I feel there were many shades to their sound and style in between as well.
@icarus187 Perhaps you’ve got a point. They’ve been around over 30 years, so to classify their material into two categories really doesn’t cut it.
@scaredcaterpillar Seconded!
Why the fuck do I have to watch a 20 second advert for Snow Patrol on a Cure video? YouTube, you are a bastard
@TheBrainFromArous Yeah WLIR is the was the coolest:D
@Multivaaac
i still don’t get it. people complaining about adverts. my dear friend, use firefox (web browser) and get the Adblock Plus plugin…you will never ever have adverts anymore
missing this good music u.u
And this is not a LIE. The summer of 1985 Austin Texas, Saturday morning 6 am just got home after clubbing all night long. The apartment is full of people trying to sleep. No one can. Too much X. Put it on repeat played it for 8 hours over and over and over. Didn’t see allot of daylight that summer, allot of wagavina though. Left Austin 5 years later, the year I left one of the girls sent me the cassette tape in the mail saying remember a night like this.
i think i may wear a grey tracksuit tomorrow. (NO OFFENSE INTENDED I AM AN AVID CURE FAN JEEZE)
@Vermin80 you are a king, my friend, a king
I agree with all of ya’ll .. that’s how we do down in the Lone Star State. I was probably at that same club on that same night. My favorite song by the Cure.
Huh… it seems like Professional Murder Music (band) did a cover on this…
all that copyright bs and they still deliver a video that isnt synced up with the music >:I
